Summer STEAM Camp
Ages 3 years-Rising First Graders
June 9 - August 15, 2014
We will be closed the week of July 4th.

Monday-Friday 8:00 - 3:00 OR 9:00-12:00
Extended Hours option until 6:00

Three-and four-year-olds, Kindergarteners, and rising 1st graders join us for the whole summer or for a week or weeks of your choice. At MCHD’s STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts/design, math) camp, we focus on flexible thinking, team-work and the creative process, from imagination to innovation!

STEAM promotes a strong level of engagement, curiosity, and creativity, fosters social and emotionaldevelopment through teamwork and self-awareness activities, and strengthens vocabulary and comprehension, as well as a greater understanding of the world at large.

During this summer camp, we’ll Zoom In and Zoom Out, taking a closer look at smaller things during some weeks and examine the larger world around us during other weeks! We’ll take time EVERY day to play outdoors and indoors, engaging in water play, movement, art, music, story time, as well as friendship and community building activities.
